Universal Carpet warrants all vinyl labor for a period of two years from the completion of installation. This warranty applies to installation of new vinyl purchased from Universal Carpet and installed by Universal Carpet’s own installation experts. Vinyl must be installed over a hard, flat surface.
Types of services provided from Universal Carpet installers at no charge under the terms of this warranty include repair or replacement of transitional materials (metal, vinyl strips, etc.) which may become loose and repair of separated boards.
This warranty does not apply to stains or damages as a result of rubber or rubber-backed floor mats or coco fiber mats. Warranty does not include repairs necessitated by abuse, negligence, abnormal use, flooding, improper maintenance, foundation settling or subfloor movement. Consequential or incidental damages resulting from other installation services are not covered by this warranty.
