Flooring in Hometown, IL

Hometown, IL is found in Cook County and has a population of around 4,349 people. The town got its start following WWII when Joseph E. Merrion developed a series of duplex houses. The town was targeted toward former GIs and their families. The town was incorporated in 1953. Unfortunately, in 1967, an F4 tornado ripped through the town, destroying nearly 86 homes and causing serious damage to 500 more.

Despite the fact that there was a devastating tornado in the area during the 1960s, folks still chose to come to this area to build their homes and raise their families. It's a quiet community that is out of the hustle and bustle of the city, but it's still close enough that people can commute downtown for work and school each day.

If you own a home here, there is a lot that you are responsible for. You have to be sure that your windows are clean, your gutters are free from clogs with leaves and twigs, and you have to keep up with your landscaping and mowing the lawn during the spring and summer months. These are all things that you already know that you have to do, but how much time do you spend thinking about your home's flooring? Most people tend to ignore what they are walking on until it has a problem or starts to show its age from years and years of wear and tear.

If the time has come for replacement, come to Universal Carpet, Inc. We have been providing quality flooring materials to the area for years now, and we guarantee that you and your family will be 100% pleased with our services and with the materials that we install.
