What is the difference between prefinished and unfinished hardwood flooring?

Prefinished flooring has a tight micro-beveled edge, and unfinished floors come end matched with a square edge that will need to be finished on-site at your home or commercial location.

Will moisture effect my hardwood floor?

Yes, this is why it is not recommended to have this material installed in bathrooms or basements. Excessive moisture can cause the wood to warp, rot, or bend.

Can I install hardwood flooring in the basement?

It is not recommended for you to get this material installed in the basement. A basement could experience problems with water seepage which will damage the wood.

What is the best way to care for and clean my wooden floor?

Use a dust mop, broom, or vacuum to prevent the build-up of dirt, dust, and grime on the floor.

How should I get rid of stains from the floor?

Use the manufacturer's recommended cleaner and a soft clot on the stain and scrub at it until it is removed. Never use any abrasive tools or cleaners, such as wax.

How can I protect my hardwood floor from damage?

Put in place a regular cleaning routine to prevent the build-up of any grime. Also, be sure to use area rugs and plastic floor protectors to keep the floor from fading or experiencing a lot of wear and tear in high foot-traffic areas.

What are the different moldings available?

The following will be available: quarter round, t-molding, reducer molding, stair nose molding, and stair tread molding.

Can I install hardwood flooring in my bathroom?

It is not recommended to get this kind of flooring installed in your bathroom since this is known as a "wet" area and moisture can cause a lot of damage to the floor and cause it to rot, warp, or buckle.

What are the benefits of hardwood flooring?

It is available in a variety of patterns and colors. They are easy to clean, and they do not promote dust or harbor dust mites. It can last for many years, also, when properly maintained.
